Services
Education and training are the foundation of a good school, everything that parents expect to find in the institution where they will enroll their child.
Rigola offers this, and much more. School services such as before and after school care, cafeteria, bus service, and many extracurricular workshops, which keep children and students engaged at school, even after lessons end. To learn and grow while having fun.
To accommodate working parents, children can arrive at school at 7:00 AM and remain until 6:30 PM.
Educational, recreational, and leisure activities are organized for children in before and after school care, to awaken their curiosity and activate their thinking in the early morning hours and to remain dynamic, alert, and proactive even in the late afternoon hours.
Rigola’s cafeteria is a service managed directly by the school’s qualified staff: every day, healthy and tasty meals are prepared in-house for our children. Nutrition is a fundamental element in the growth of every individual, which is why we pay close attention to menu planning and food preparation, in order to ensure the proper intake of calories and nutrients for children and students. Naturally, the dishes are prepared in accordance with local health authority guidelines and qualified through a nutrition education program.
As an initiative to promote healthy, balanced, and varied nutrition, once a month we offer the celebration menu: an excellent opportunity to discover new recipes!
Rigola provides children and students with a school bus service that serves Besana Brianza and neighboring towns: Triuggio, Montesiro, Casatenovo, Monticello B.za, Renate/Cassago, Veduggio/Capriano, Visconta, Valle Guidino.
Each year the school evaluates requests and designs routes capable of offering a functional service, in compliance with regulations regarding traffic and the transportation of minors.

The History
Rigola, which today is a Comprehensive Private School including the toddler section, preschool, primary school, and lower secondary school, has a long and fascinating history.
In 1885, Father Carlo San Martino founded the Pio Istituto pei Figli della Provvidenza in Milan, with the intention of creating a serene and welcoming environment for young people in difficulty.
The Facilities
The Rigola school campus, whose original core dates back to the seventeenth century, is surrounded by a fine Italian garden and features extensive outdoor and indoor spaces: courtyards for outdoor play, recreation halls, dining rooms, a theater hall, gymnasium, reading rooms, multimedia classrooms, science, art, and language laboratories, and a chapel. In the park stands the ancient oratory of the Madonna della Neve.
